From the Managers' desk
Welcome to the Ascot Park Hotel during this our "Summer Season"
It is with a wry smile that I make this comment as many who have lived in Invercargill through Summer can vouch for the fact, that at the best the weather until April can be a little patchy with combination of hot days mixed with a few cooler days! Just enough in fact to confuse those that have not visited here before.
Those who make the most of our province know that a selection of summer clothing with an article or two of warmer clothing and a raincoat is the best way to travel. Make good of regional weather forecasts on the internet or ask our team to do it for you.
This year I have deemed that it shall be the year of the Tiki Tour* a great opportunity for my team and I, to tell you some of the best "out of the way" day trips to take from Invercargill and if required Fiordland. We have suggested in our special offers page a number of trips that you can do using Invercargill as a hub.....and why not? Our accomodation is clean, facilities excellent and our town a hidden jewel! Challenge one of my team to help you with your "Tiki Tour" and discover all that Southland has to offer.
*A Tiki Tour is best described as a road trip with a destination in mind but at no particular pace and with not rules about how many "side roads" you can travel on. Take your Tiki Tour today. |
